Oct. 26, 2009 FUJITSU TEN LIMITED ECLIPSE Master Class 〜Co-Hosted for the Second Time with Osaka University〜 FUJITSU TEN LIMITED (Head Office: Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Keijiro Katsumaru; Capital: 5.3 billion yen) and Osaka University are co-hosting the "ECLIPSE Master Class 'mash Live'" at Hills Bread Factory Live House (Osaka) on Tuesday November 17. Following the master class will be a concert that will be open to the general public. ■ What is a Master Class? Master classes are special classes provided in various fields of the performing arts, but particularly in music and theatre, in which a specialist in his or her field directly coaches participating students. Some universities in Europe and the United States include master classes in their annual curriculum. First ECLIPSE Master Class in 2008 ■ Cooperation between students, universities, instructors, and FUJITSU TEN The "ECLIPSE Master Class" is a new style of event produced through cooperation between students, universities, instructors, and FUJITSU TEN. At the last event in March 2009 that was co-hosted by Berklee College of Music, we were fortunate to meet the musicians and technicians who participated in the performances and discussion for this most recent event at Osaka University. We hope that the students will take this opportunity to experience "sound and music", as well as their experience in producing this event together with FUJITSU TEN, as lessons for future growth throughout their lives.
