Outline Business Introduction Research & Development Production and Quality control VISION2012
Production and Quality control
We employ thorough quality control and will continue to manufacture products that live up to customer expectations.
Our worldwide plants which acquired QS9000 certification manufacture products in a production system that demands high speed, flexibility, efficiency and reliability.
Under the restraints of a thorough quality control system, we conduct severe, rigorous testing, and have also realized saving of space and manpower through the introduction of unmanned lines that reduce production costs and stabilize supply.
We place top priority on manufacturing products that live up to customer expectations.
Electronic component mounting line
The high-density, high-precision electronic component mounting line
mounts SMDs (surfacemounted devices) at an
accelerated rate of more than 10 points par second.
This advanced equipment meets the need to manufacture highly sophisticated electronic products by enabling in-corporation of a greater
number of smaller parts, and by allowing wider use of SMDs in the production process.
Millimeter-wave radar assembly line (Nakatsugawa plant)
Technologies for highly reliable production, high-precision mounting, and super-high frequency measurement, are fully utilized at the Nakatsugawa Plant to produce microstructure, high-performance 76GHz car-mounted millimeter-wave radars.
Bare chip mounting system (Nakatsugawa plant)
Bare chips are adopted for sensor-modules and other devices to realize smaller size, higher density and improved quality.
Automatic imaging & Inspection equipment
This equipment automatically inspects chips, IC soldering condition and the condition of installed parts through image processing.
Operation duravility test
This test measures product durability in terms of operational mode when the product is used for an extended period of time.
Electrostatic shock test
This test measures the influences of static electricity, built up in the human body, on the control panel when touched by fingers.
High-speed assembly line for engine control module (Nakatsugawa plant)
Close collaboration between departments involved in product design and production process design has brought about simpler, faster, more
accurate assembly and inspection operations.
The high-speed assembly line for engine control module is constructed with highly efficient technologies which include a fully automatic rapid inspection system.
Vivration noise evaluation test
The test is a quantitative evaluation using microphones of mechanical noise (mecha allophone) generating from products while vehicles are being driven.
